North West Regional College (NWRC) has provided innovative and comprehensive academic and skills training programs to North West Saskatchewan for over 30 years. With a commitment to contributing to the development of the ever-growing provincial workforce, the College has expanded to deliver programs in 22 communities and First Nations outside of the two primary campus locations in Meadow Lake and North Battleford. In a booming economy that is reliant on skilled workers, NWRC welcomes the leadership of a Director, North Region to steward the provision of programs and services in the College’s north region.
Director, North Region - Meadow Lake
The Director, North Region will report to the President and will provide leadership to the northern region, working with stakeholders in understanding and developing solutions to meet the labour and skill demands of today and tomorrow. This individual will establish annual budget and operational plans, manage performance to plan, and monitor key metrics for all areas under his/her jurisdiction. The Director, North Region will be the liaison to external agencies and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with business, industry, tribal councils and First Nations.
As the ideal Director, North Region, you will have experience at a senior level managing multiple diverse staffs, learners, and other stakeholders. You will have exceptional negotiation and public speaking skills and be an outstanding writer. In addition, multi-tasking and problem solving are second nature to you and your leadership sparks passion and innovation in your team. You will be community-minded and excited to invest yourself in the City of Meadow Lake and all that it has to offer.
